Ballacowell

Maj was such a kind host, even suggesting places for riding and making my grandma a sandwich for the journey home. The rooms and facilities felt like home and had everything we needed. Breakfast had plenty of choice, and the full English was the best I've ever had. We had a brilliant stay on the island, and I'd come back in a heartbeat.

The location made it easy to get around the island and see the sights. We were really comfortable, with a good-sized shower and bathroom, and there was a lovely lounge for relaxing in the evening. Breakfast was excellent, and the owners were very accommodating. I can't fault the stay and would definitely return.

The setting along the TT Sulby Straight is both peaceful and well placed for an Isle of Man visit, whether you're after a quiet break or the excitement of the course. Ballacowell has comfortable B&B rooms as well as a charming self-catering cottage, set in spacious grounds. The hosts are warm, experienced, and flexible about what guests need. Breakfast includes cereal, fruit, and cooked-to-order options, with fresh tea or coffee, so you won't start the day hungry. I'd recommend it without hesitation.

The mountain and Glen views are spectacular, and I'm already looking forward to next year. It's a peaceful, clean place where the kids can play safely. My son especially loves having the freedom of the farm and its animals. Even though it's on the TT course, traffic noise doesn't disturb you.
