We had a very pleasant Lake India houseboat stay in Alleppy. The food was good, the double bedroom was neatly decorated, and the bathrooms were clean. Staff were cordial and took care of every request. We enjoyed the weather and atmosphere around the backwater lake throughout the trip. Thanks to ex Sgt Antony for his hospitality.

The lunch with local delicacies was good, and there was speed boat sailing in the middle of the river. But the boat was old, with broken windows, and the rooms were unhygienic. During the season, they rotate night and day shifts. Choose your boat carefully and inspect each one in person. Online booking won't help. This group had 45 members, and the person who booked isn't necessarily the only one who can review the business. Produce the bill. Improve quality and avoid arguing with clients. Replying politely to reviews can help too.

The food was really good, and we had a good trip overall. The facilities were good too. Getting on and off the boat meant going through 2 other boats, which worried some of the older people in our group. Aside from that issue, everything was fine and we had a good experience.

The food was satisfying in both quality and quantity, and the whole boat, including the bathrooms, was very hygienic. The staff were cordial, efficient, and well behaved. Thanks to the owner for maintaining such a good standard. It's a great place to enjoy a boat house stay.
