OYO 13088 Hotel Basant

The online photos and details are misleading. The room was dirty, had no towels, soap, dustbin, or other basics, and they hadn’t changed the sheets after the previous guest left. There was just one pillow for two people, and nobody was available to bring our luggage up. They say smoking isn’t allowed in the room, yet there were cigarettes in the bathroom brush stand. This was pathetic. I’d suggest choosing another hotel, even compared with other budget-friendly places.

It’s okay if you’re solo and need a low price near the airport. There’s a bar behind the hotel, so it’s always noisy around there, though you can’t hear much sound in the room.

I could barely use the TV because it had no DTH recharge, and the bathroom and western toilet looked like they belonged in a public restroom. My room smelled badly, but I had nowhere else to go. The staff wouldn't listen to our problems, and the rooms were very dirty. I'd choose the railway station over staying here.

The power went out early in the morning, and the geyser wasn't working. The receptionist said there was no petrol for the generator. I had a morning flight, but luckily I still made it on time. This was my first disappointing stay at an OYO location. I suspect the positive comments may be fake reviews posted by OYO to promote it.
