You get a lot for the price here, and we were comfortable throughout our two nights. The room was exceptionally clean, and the staff were nice and always ready to help. There are useful basics like a hair dryer, kettle, WiFi, and an iron, along with a cafe, shared kitchen, and board games. Parking is right outside with plenty of space, and there's a garage too if you'd rather keep your vehicle inside. Totally worth it, and you won't be disappointed.

We arrived as a group of up to 17, spread over several days and often at changing times because of flight or train delays. Even with late night arrivals, they arranged all our taxi transfers from the airport and train station. The owner and staff adjusted perfectly to what we asked for, with real kindness and competence. We gradually booked the whole hotel for a few days with family and friends before a large Indian wedding outside the city. Having that time in a more intimate setting near Amritsar was ideal. The place is a gem if you like a simple, authentic atmosphere and still want cleanliness. We all loved it, and the value for money was excellent. Thank you, and congratulations! It's on the outer edge of old Amritsar, about a 30-minute walk from the Golden Temple. Staying closer didn't seem worthwhile, as prayers happen all the time and it can be noisy at night. There's a games room with ping-pong and self-service ironing facilities, and the hotel is very well thought out. The furnishings are beautiful, everything is very clean, and the staff are attentive and friendly. Food is simple, vegetarian, made on site, and served at small tables near reception. You need to order ahead because it's not set up as a restaurant. For breakfast, order the night before and give a time. Don't ask at the last minute, like at 8 p.m. It's simple and very welcoming. There's also a rooftop terrace that's basically furnished at the moment, but it's a pleasant place to have a drink with friends. Bottled water is available to buy.

Stay Shaandaar is close to the Golden Palace and Hall Bazaar, but not so close that you're right in the middle of things. The place is cozy, clean, and well situated for exploring Amritsar, and I'd recommend it. Mandeep Singh, Krish in particular, and the rest of the team were fantastic hosts, always courteous, helpful, and professional. I brought my family to Amritsar, and one morning an elephant walked by the hotel around 10.00.

We arrived on 31 st December with a teenager and a toddler, and the kids loved the indoor games, story books, warm room, and YouTube in the rooms. The space worked well for them. Stable WiFi meant papa could do office work while I uploaded reels 🤣. Service was right on point. Fresh food takes up to 30 minutes to prepare, which works well for parents who want home-cooked meals for their kids while travelling. Zomoto was available too, though we didn't need it. The rooms were spacious and well ventilated, toilets clean and working properly. No complaints, just happy memories and a 💖lovely ambience.
