The ground-floor bar looks nice, but when I went around 2 pm there was no AC and lots of smoking. I asked at the counter about a non-smoking area and got a terrible response from the heavyset person there. I only wanted to know where I could sit without smoke. The place is near the Indian oil petrol bunk and seems like a nice spot to meet friends, but we don't smoke, so it was a problem. In the evening I tried the 4th floor, where a lot of people were smoking too. I managed because it was open air. I wouldn't recommend HSR as a place for this kind of party.

Getting around the city was easy from here, and there are good restaurants close by. A great budget stay in a very convenient location.

The staff were rude and made the place feel dangerous. When I said the food wasn't fresh, the man in a white shirt on the ground floor swore at me in Kannada. I found him rowdy and the place unsafe. If you don't know Kannada and can't argue back, I really wouldn't recommend going there.

The food was awful for what they charge. The mutton plate was ₹850 and the chicken plate ₹650, and neither was worth the price. I expected better quality at those rates, but the taste and portions were poor and the whole experience was bad. I took photos and videos to show how unacceptable it was. I'd avoid this place, it's overpriced and the food is below average.
