Treebo Trend Rotano Suites

There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby, and the room did have air conditioning. The bathroom was clean, to be fair, but there were stains on the blankets and towels. I stayed in the biggest room they offered and found cockroaches everywhere, including one on my pillow, which made it stressful to sleep. The hotel is on a busy main road with very little parking, and the street was too loud to open the windows for fresh air.

The staff themselves were nice, but the way Fabhotel management handled this was very bad. I'd paid in advance through redBus for my child and me, yet the hotel said it had details for only one adult. Calling fabhotel didn't help, and they blamed redBus. A redBus executive tried to persuade the hotel to update the booking to two adults, but the hotel said this had to be changed on its website, which wasn't possible. Eventually the property let us in at 11.30 pm. Fabhotel's automated customer care hadn't validated the contact for my redBus booking either. Fabhotels is lethargic and unprofessional, and doesn't seem to take the latest booking updates into account. I also saw a cockroach in one room. The bathroom bucket was old, and the towels were worn out.

The receptionist and housekeeping boys were friendly and cooperative, and the bathroom was neat and clean. Hot water came from an electric geyser, and they provided an electric kettle and accessories. The room was comfortable, with a neatly arranged cot and an okay mattress. There’s a lift, and the property is easy to reach on a busy road. It was budget friendly, and otherwise things were okay. The TV and cable weren't working, and we didn't try the AC because the weather was too cold. There's no restaurant attached, so we had to use online food supplies. I reserved through the Fab hotels network, but Fab hotel wasn't involved at check-in. I think the 'Fab' people partner with Rotano Suites only for reservations. The display board says 'Rotano Suites', not the name shown on Google, and there's no 'Fab hotel' sign anywhere, so checking in can be a little confusing.

The view is great and hard to beat. I had worried about the staff after reading other reviews, but having stayed here, I found them to be the politest hotel staff I've come across. The service was amazing, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. No problems with the room or bathroom.
