Our room, number 257, felt like a home away from home. It was lovely, spacious, and comfortable for 3-4 people. The staff were friendly and supportive, always ready to help with a smile, and service was quick and polite. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hospitality was excellent. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Shankar Palace and would highly recommend it.

Sir, please speak to your manager at Shanker Place Hotel. He behaved very poorly and doesn’t seem to know how to speak to guests. At reception, he was so rude, as though guests were staying for free. Please look into it. Thank you, sir.

I didn’t get the comfort or care I expected during my stay. Calls for room service went unanswered, and even basic things like cleaning were completely overlooked. The experience was quite disappointing.

Very poor service and bad behaviour. They first quoted 2200 rupees for the room, and we asked for a half-day charge. But when we checked out, they said we had to pay the full room price.
