The quiet countryside setting is the main draw here, with cottage-style rooms and views by the pool making it a peaceful place to get away from the city. Aura Vaseela Resort also has a distinct Punjabi village feel, with ethnic architecture, broad gardens, and a connection to Bollywood filming, especially the Deol family's Apne. The staff are generally warm, and the restaurant gets praise for flavorful North Indian food. Some parts of the resort feel worn, though, and the washrooms and pool could use better upkeep. It sits about 7-8 km from the airport, and the approach road can be narrow and dark at night. A characterful option for a family weekend or traditional wedding, if you prefer nature to a sleek modern hotel.

I went to Aura Vaseela Resort for its Holi event and liked the peaceful, rural setting and the pool, which made it feel like a break from the city. The food situation, though, was a mess. Organizers kept selling meal tokens even after the counters had run out; when we tried to eat, only basic drinks were available. Staff repeatedly told us to wait 15 minutes, but no food came and nothing was arranged. The resort itself has a nice countryside charm mixed with modern comfort, and could work for a weekend away or a family gathering, but the catering management at this event was terrible.

Really lovely spot, right out among the fields. They have some good packages if you're looking to celebrate in a luxurious way.

I was shocked by how badly the Holi party was managed. The crowd felt awful, with so many drunk people there, and my friend and I lost our phone at the event. They charged 1500 for couple entry but seemed more interested in collecting money than controlling the crowd. It's their responsibility to manage the party, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I'm extremely shaken by the way they handled it, and wouldn't go to another event here.

A close friend got married here this year, and I liked the atmosphere. It has the feel of an old village imitation, and the food was good, without being too spicy or heavy on masala. The resort is quite far from the city on Airport Road, but Google Maps gets you right to the location.
