The rooms were filthy, and the whole place smelled awful. The washroom and room were both dirty, the walls and curtains were covered in dust, and even after we asked for fresh bedding, the sheets were very dirty too. Oyo's hygiene promise felt like a lie. I took pictures and can share them on request. I only ordered tea because the place had already left such a poor impression. It arrived cold and tasted bad. I wouldn't dare eat anything else there. The hotel is tucked into a very congested lane, about a half-hour drive from the airport. When you arrive, it doesn't look like a hotel, just a few rooms upstairs with other shops on the ground floor. There is no lift, and the stairs are steep. I booked through Oyo. The manager was rude when he found out my booking was for one guest and I'd come with my family. He told me to cancel the Oyo booking and book directly. He charged me more than Oyo had quoted, then only let us stay for three hours despite the extra charge. You don't get many chances to take a holiday with family, so don't spoil one by staying somewhere like this Oyo property. Spend a bit more on a quality place, you won't regret it. Don't trust the good ratings, they may be fake. I can't think of a more pathetic hotel, though maybe other Oyo hotels are just as bad. #oyorooms
