Eco Stay Mount Road

The location made getting around easy, since Thousand lights metro is very close. The lift worked, someone was at reception 24 x 7, and staff were polite and responsive, even if not professional. The room was generally clean, cleaned daily, and the bedding was changed. Hangers, a kettle with tea and coffee, plates and spoons were supplied, and both the AC and geyser worked well. The smoke was the biggest problem. The corridors always smelled of it, and I assume smoking was allowed all over the property. During my 10 nights there, I woke up many times needing to air out the room because it felt hard to breathe. The corridors had no windows, and most other occupants said their rooms didn't have windows either, so there wasn't natural ventilation. I only stayed because I'd paid in advance, everything else was booked, and I needed this area. The balcony room on the top floor was supposedly the most expensive, but its balcony was dirty and smelly, next to the servant quarters, with bathroom windows opening onto it. There were stains on the walls and lift, and the chair was filthy and smelled horrible. Most worrying, someone tried to enter my room in the middle of the night, and my brother had to shoo them away. We also found a bottle on the balcony that wasn't ours, so it seemed people had entered and used it while we were out. The room kept smelling of cigarette smoke. I had to ask each day for basics like cleaning and a water bottle, and they were never brought voluntarily or on time.
