Springhaven - City Center

Sid, the landlord, is very helpful and can give advice or arrange taxis. I've stayed at Springhaven three times since 2016, for three weeks each visit. The rooms are very clean, and the Indian breakfast is excellent. I also enjoyed the fresh home-cooked dinners made each day by the friendly kitchen staff. I'll definitely come back.

We've stayed at Springhaven City Center twice and had spacious, clean rooms and very good accommodation both times. Madurya was a convivial host and arranged our travel to Mahabalipuram to see the Shore Temple, as well as a cookery demo with her MIL, Nirmala, which was excellent. Mukesh also gave us a cookery demo. He's a nice chap and an excellent cook. I'd highly recommend the Springhaven Guest House for anyone wanting to stay near the city center.

The neighbourhood is quiet and the food is great. It's a more-than-decent place for a short stay or even a longer stretch, though it isn't modern and doesn't have all the amenities.

The owner is extremely approachable, and the location is very good. The management team was accommodating and the staff very supportive. It's a neat place with excellent food, and good value for money at an economical price.
