Bloom Hotel - Karol Bagh

The staff were warm and genuinely hospitable, and handled everything from meals to room service with care. I was traveling with my elderly parents, and we all found the stay comfortable and reassuring. Our room was clean, well-equipped, and serviced promptly. We also enjoyed the tasty food and thoughtful menu at the in-house restaurant. We had a wonderful time at Bloom Hotel Karol Bagh, and I’d recommend it to families and older travelers.

The service was the biggest disappointment. Front desk staff seemed uninterested in guest comfort, and when I brought up the problems, Nikhil was rude and didn’t take the complaint seriously. I was also told the hotel was badly understaffed, with people covering several jobs, such as a receptionist also working as a bellboy. It felt like a “carry-on” arrangement rather than a well-run hotel. Room service took almost an hour, and the food arrived cold and tasteless. The TV also didn’t work because, apparently, its balance had run out. The room itself was clean, but very small and uncomfortable. For a place promoted so heavily, the experience fell far short of expectations. I wouldn’t recommend Bloom Boutique Karol Bagh.

Check-in turned out to be easy and comfortable, even though I’d expected to have to explain the extra person at reception after pre-booking for three. The rooms were clean and pleasant, without air freshener being used to cover up smells. Breakfast is modest and strictly vegetarian. There are plenty of Swiggy or Zomato options, while most nearby restaurants within walking distance serve South Indian food, mainly Kerala and Tamil cuisine. Given the facilities, I felt the price might fit better in the 3k to 4k range, with some of what you pay going toward the brand.

We spent a few days in the lively neighborhood and liked it, though I can see it may not suit every traveler. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, with friendly, helpful staff, and the price feels like very good value. The excellent reviews on TripAdvisor can be hard to trust sometimes, ha ha, but in this case the praise for Bloom Hotel is deserved. Breakfast is served at the fully equipped restaurant next door. The buffet changed each day, and the Indian food was delicious. Manager Prahlad took care of housekeeping, and whenever we needed something, the staff sorted it out.
