Hotel Yellow Saffron

I only booked for 3 hours because my ward had an examination centre nearby. The room was good enough for that short stay and had the amenities I needed. The bathroom hygiene needs attention, though. The commode and basin need a proper clean.

The room was tiny, like a matchbox, and the beds and toilet seat were broken. The blanket was stained, too. Staff were rude and kept arguing whenever we asked for basic things. They gave us tap water in a bottle with a broken seal. They didn't ask other couples for ID, but wanted ID for our guest as well. A horrible experience.

We stayed for a few days while attending an exam, and it was peaceful with no noise. The staff were helpful and well dressed. There's a kitchen in the hotel that serves food, though it's on the expensive side, and a tea shop about 200 metres away. It's also a good place to come with someone you love. People come here to spend time together.

The receptionist quoted 1200 rs per night. When I showed him the MakeMyTrip price, he lowered it to 675+190 tax and asked me to pay 1000 including a deposit, saying it would be returned at checkout. But at checkout they said the agreed rate was 1000 per night. Better to book through MakeMyTrip. That's what happened to me, and there was no discount for booking directly.
