Honestly, I was very disappointed. The staff weren’t cooperative, the water heater didn’t work, and the TV and AC weren’t working properly either. They also wouldn’t let my friend come visit me. You can probably find better options for that budget. Hope this helps.
The owner was very arrogant. The AC didn’t work, there was no hot water, and there was no OYO branding anywhere at the hotel, so I left a bad review. I stayed 20 minutes past checkout, and the owner slammed the door at me as I was leaving. He charges Rs.900 for a dirty room, then expects a good review. Shame on Oyo for listing him.
The staff were nice, the food was good, and the room was fully furnished for a cheap price. The location was great too, with easy access to Kashmiri gate or New Delhi.
The room stank and was in terrible shape, making this an awful experience. OYO’s website showed a picture that didn’t belong to this older property, and there were properties with almost the same name, which felt like a gimmick. I reached at 10:30 and they wanted an early check-in charge equal to my booking amount. When I refused, I said I’d wait in the common area until check-in time, but they wouldn’t let me stay there and told me to wait outside. After an argument, they finally allowed me to wait. The services were pathetic, and the receptionist didn’t know how to treat a customer.
I booked a room with morning breakfast, but they didn’t provide it and still charged me for breakfast. I showed them my booking details, but that didn’t help. Overall, I didn’t find the experience good.
