Gateway Inn

I asked to see the room before checking in, and the strong damp, moldy smell was immediately obvious. It felt dirty, unhealthy, and unsafe, so I refused to stay and requested cancellation. I had booked through Cleartrip with free cancellation before 12:00 PM, but travel delays meant I arrived around 1:30 PM. Cleartrip contacted the hotel, which refused the refund despite the room's condition. Cleartrip later confirmed the hotel had denied refund approval. The staff showed no empathy, and I felt they cared only about keeping the money. The odor and hygiene raised serious health concerns. I strongly warn people away from this place and suggest finding a cleaner hotel near the airport. I can't reply directly to the hotel's response, so I'm adding this clarification. Its claim about an "unauthorized person" is false and defamatory. I booked 1 Deluxe Double Room for 2 Adults, and we arrived as a family, exactly as the confirmation stated. There was no extra or unauthorized person. I believe the allegation was made to avoid giving a refund. I have attached a screenshot showing the confirmed booking for 2 Adults. Making false accusations against a guest is serious misconduct. If the misinformation continues, I'll be forced to proceed legally because I consider it harassment and false allegations. Customers should be cautious: I believe the hotel is misleading guests and trying to make money unfairly.

Anwar was especially helpful. He booked a room for us from abroad, arranged a cab for pickup and drop-off, and even helped order food at 2am. Very polite, helpful staff overall. A good budget option for a nightcap near the Airport, and highly recommended.

I picked Gateway Inn for guests attending my wedding party because they were arriving late at night. The staff made them feel welcome and handled their concerns with care, without bothering them unnecessarily. Everyone had what they needed and enjoyed a comfortable, delightful stay. Thanks to Gateway Inn for the thoughtful, helpful service.

We stayed one night with family during a visit to banglore because our flight was late at night and we wanted somewhere near the airport. It's conveniently about 15 minutes away. The room was neat and clean, with a spacious bathroom. Breakfast was decent, vegetarian only, and served in the room rather than as a buffet.
