The staff are really nice, and you get a lake view. It's a decent place to stay in a prime location. Food isn't available there, though, so it has to be brought in from outside.

Sunrise and sunset over the Damodar Nadi were the highlight for me. Subhankar Guest House sits right beside the river, with peaceful surroundings that made it easy to unwind. I stayed there for two days and found the rooms comfortable, clean, and well kept. The staff were friendly and ready to help, and the place had a welcoming, homely feel. If you're visiting Maithon and want comfort along with a lovely natural view, I think it's a great choice. Highly recommended!

They do daily cleaning, and there's electricity 24/7. The rooms are very good quality, and both the staff and owner are cooperative and nice. They did ask for a tip at the end, but it was a very small amount for both of us. Very good overall.

The room was spotless and spacious, with a remarkably comfortable bed. The location worked well for sightseeing, just a few minutes' walk from [destination not specified]. The front desk team were especially friendly and helpful, and the staff made us feel at home. I highly recommend it for a relaxing, enjoyable stay.
