We’d only planned to stay at Hotel Panda for a day during our family trip to Dharamshala–McLeod Ganj, but Mr. Abhishek and Mrs. Pooja made us feel like old friends. Their warm, homelike hospitality was so special that we added two more days. The rooftop seating area just outside the rooms was lovely for quiet mornings and evenings. The prices seemed reasonable, and in my experience they didn’t overcharge even in peak season. They also gave me a special Dharamshala souvenir as a thoughtful farewell gift. I’d highly recommend the property.

I had two of my best nights in this lovely hotel. The terrace has one of the best views in Dharamshala, and the host was friendly and helpful. My room was cozy and clean, and the restaurant food was tasty and homely.

It feels like a floating garden, with a peaceful, zen kind of atmosphere right in the middle of Dharamshala. The valley view is beautiful. I loved it, and it’s a must-visit for travelers coming to Dharamshala.
