My balcony room had a swing, and there was a campfire from 7 to 8 PM IST. The place has four floors and more than 35 rooms, all very well maintained. It's about 150 m from the lake, with car parking and washroom facilities available around the clock. There's also a 24-hour cafe, plus affordable veg and non-veg restaurants open until 10 pm IST.

The room was just okay, and Wi-Fi was available, but at 2400 rupees the value wasn't there. The bathroom water wasn't clean, the walls were dirty, and the room didn't seem well maintained. They cleaned it within 30 minutes of checkout. Food at the restaurant tasted good, but it was expensive for what you got. I'd avoid the non-veg food: it gave me a bad stomach.

I've stayed in Kodikanal regularly and know this hotel, but this visit was my worst one here. We were there for two days and asked them to clean, with no response or service. The first and second floors smelled very bad, weren't clean, and had flies everywhere. Check the rooms before booking. I won't book here again.

From outside the hotel looks nice, so don't be fooled by that. The sheets and blankets smelled and were filthy, and the toilet looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in two months. Hospitality gets minus 1000 from me, and cleanliness gets the same score. I reckon they wash the bedding only once a month. Google should have a negative review option for places like this. I wouldn't recommend this so-called hotel to anyone.

The rates are high for such poor rooms and awful customer service. My room was untidy, the bathroom was dirty, and it smelled really bad, like a drainage leak. Choosing this place ruined my day. Please don't book here. Purinjiko thapichiko.
