The cafe team really made this stay for me. The food was sooo delicious, and the chef is a magician in the kitchen. The two guys working there were friendly and lovely. The rooms were clean, and the service was great too. There’s a bus from right outside the hotel about every 40 minutes to get into town. Thanks so much, Hosteller, and especially the cafe guys. I’d recommend staying here if you’re visiting Kodaikannal.

The cafeteria staff, Sourabh and Hasan, followed our instructions exactly when preparing the food, and the chefs did a great job. The aloo paratha was especially yummy, and everything had that tasty, homemade feel. Cleanliness, food, and service were all top notch. Whether you’re travelling alone or with a group, I’d recommend visiting when you’re in Kodaikanal. Thank you!

I enjoyed my stay. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the pure vegetarian restaurant had good food. The location is good, though it’s far from Kodaikanal center. A cab to the city costs 800 INR, and while the bus stop is next to Hosteller, buses don’t come often.

Dinner was the highlight for me. The kadhi chawal was one of the best comfort meals I’ve had, and there were plenty of other options. Breakfast was lovely too, with aloo paratha, poha, and chai that all tasted homemade. The rooms were super clean, service was great, and the hospitality made us feel at home. Such a cozy, memorable stay at The Hosteller, Kodaikanal. I’d love to come back.

Only Jio 5G worked dependably for connectivity, which kind of fits a proper hill retreat. The food is vegetarian only, simple and homely, and doesn’t try too hard to impress. I stayed two days in a private room, with the calm I was looking for. It was spacious and well maintained, decorated in yellow, grey, and white. Sunset views spread across the layered valley hues. Friendly staff, ample parking, and a peaceful spot about 7 ish kms from the city center. I’d happily return.
