We stayed here with family, and I regret booking it. At checkout, we were delayed for reasonable reasons by unexpected circumstances at the temple, but the manager and staff responded with harsh words and needless rudeness. Their lack of courtesy and understanding was disappointing and unprofessional, especially from people meant to make guests feel welcome. Be aware of the risk of being treated this way, and consider another place instead of this pathetic hotel.
8/10
The temple is an easy walk away, and the railway station is just a few steps from the hotel. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and sheets, good wardrobe space, and an AC that cooled well. The washroom was neat and towels and soap were provided. There were drawbacks, though: only one power outlet, no hot water, and the AC could only be switched on or off, with no temperature adjustment. The room telephone didn't work either.
10/10
A nice stay that was easy on the wallet. The room and washroom were very neat, breakfast was included and good, and the staff were friendly. The temple is walkable, the railway station is very close, and there's ample car parking. Highly recommend.
8/10
It's close enough to walk to Guruvayur temple, but set away from the busy area, so it suited us as a peaceful family stay. The rooms, washrooms, and linen were clean, with good ventilation and air-conditioning. Staff were polite and cooperative.
8/10
It's 0.5 km from Guruvayur temple, with food and shopping areas within walking distance. The price is a bit high compared with Kairali Stays. Water dripped from the AC, and there were lots of mosquitoes when we entered the room. Parking is limited and uncovered. It's mostly unavailable on Oyo.
