I've been coming here since 2011, but the service and staff behavior were terrible this time. We ordered small fish fry, chicken, paneer, and other things. The fish seemed to have been fried over and over, and it was old, very oily, and crunchy. The paneer coating was hard and much too spicy, as if the spice was covering up a lack of freshness. The place was dirty and cheap, with third-rate service. The staff were also rude and uneducated. It was a terrible experience.

I asked for an extra blanket because the one there was too small for two people, and the caretaker started arguing. He also told me the bathroom tap water was good to drink when I asked for a bottle of water. At night, the caretaker was drinking and fighting with me for reasons I didn't know, while demanding the full payment at booking and again before checkout. He took our key without us noticing, apparently so he could pressure us for the full room payment in advance.

The duck curry had no taste or authentic flavor, and the dal was bland with no seasoning. The rice came cold, too. On top of the food, the service was rude and discourteous, with no basic courtesy toward customers. A very unpleasant meal, and I wouldn't recommend the place.

We ordered tandoori roti and chicken masala. The chicken cost over 500 rupees, but it didn't taste good, and we regretted eating here. The so-called cabins weren't very clean, and although there was a washbasin outside, there was no handwash. There was also an odd smell in the seating area.

We were hungry but couldn't finish the low-quality food, and the prices were way too high. Then the waiter asked for a tip. I gave him 20 rupees, and he threw the note back at me. Cottage no. 8, 12.04.2026, 2:50 PM to 4 PM.
