Treebo Royal Palace, Zoo Road

The low room tariff is a plus, and Uber or a car can come right up to the hotel. If you're looking for a decent place within 2500/-, it may be okay, but this was an unpleasant one-night stay for me. The room needs renovation and proper cleaning and maintenance. The bathroom was small, and the bed was very uncomfortable, especially for elderly people. Lunch, both the chicken thali and veg thali, wasn't worth mentioning. Breakfast was fine, and the veg sandwich was quite okay, but there were hardly any choices. They didn't have a grilled sandwich, which is easily available even at homestays nowadays. Service wasn't prompt and staff didn't seem eager to work. No toiletries were provided. It didn't feel like a "Royal Palace".

The staff members are caring and cordial, and the location is accessible by public transport. We felt at home during our stay at hotel Royal place, and it was pocket-friendly and good value for money. Breakfast was okay, though the selection was limited and lacked variety. I recommend staying here.

The pictures give the wrong impression. It's an average place at best, with budget-friendly rooms that need maintenance. The walls are peeling and the balcony was dirty, though the washroom was clean. It's accessible from the railway station, around 15-20 minutes away.

A good place for an overnight stay. The food feels homemade, and they serve it with a smile and love.
