The staff knew the menu well and made kind, helpful suggestions. Service was good, and the place still lives up to its reputation as one of the first international hotels in hubli. There’s plenty of parking in the basement, but no valet service. It closes at 11:30 pm, so keep that in mind. A surprisingly nice visit, and I’ll definitely come back.

The owners seem uninterested in guests’ dissatisfaction or in whether the business is profitable. The whole place feels more like a neglected public asset than a working hospitality business, and there are obvious signs of neglect throughout the poorly maintained hotel.

I went there to celebrate a birthday, and the day turned into a terrible experience. The staff were unresponsive and careless, with little hospitality. The manager was especially bad.

There were lots of mosquitoes, and it didn’t feel safe for kids. The rooms are outdated, there’s no hot water, and room service was awful. After making me wait 30 minutes, the staff refused to change the bedsheet. Breakfast was barely more than a name, with just two items. This is a low-standard hotel trading on an international name. Even a lodge would have been a better choice.
