We booked every room for friends and relatives to stay during my sister’s wedding, and regretted it as soon as we got there. The location and service made it hard to feel safe. Even a single car struggled to enter the road without getting bumped around, and there was no food facility at all. In many rooms, the same key could open the locks, even though different keys were handed out. The lift was too small to fit 4 people together, and its condition made us fear it could fall at any time. Every room had dirty bedsheets and blankets. When we asked staff to change them, the replacements were even dirtier. They brought all the sheets and blankets to our room, but none were clean. The toilets were filthy and smelly, and some rooms smelled like a gutter. This was the worst hotel experience of my life. I wish I could give it zero stars.

I’d paid in full for a confirmed OYO booking from 25 to 28th of October. I arrived in Indore at around 8 o’clock at night on the 25th with my old parents and kid. The manager denied check-in and started arguing, saying he wouldn’t let me in because I’d paid OYO. After 2 hours of argument, insults from the manager and 10 + calls to OYO customer care, I finally got checked in because I refused to budge. In the morning, the manager started arguing and insulting us again, and forced us to leave even though the booking was confirmed and prepaid. When I asked for drinking water, he said I had to pay extra. This was the treatment we got during Diwali. Imagine a woman with old parents and a kid, late at night in an unfamiliar city, being turned away for no reason. I urge people never to book here or put their lives in danger. If OYO customer care reads reviews, please remove this hotel from the list.

It’s on the outskirts, away from the traffic, and the cleanliness is good. The rooms and amenities are very good, the elevator is there, and everything is in proper order. Mr. Gaur is nice and cooperative, and CCTV is installed. The tariff is reasonable. A good choice for families.

They took advance money for the booking, then refused check-in, saying no room was available. They didn’t even refund the money. Be careful, don’t pay in advance.
