Hotel Bright Heritage

There was no hot water, and nobody mentioned that at check-in, so we only discovered it when we tried to shower in the morning. The service was awful: the room had no toilet paper, and we had to ask three times before they sorted it out. The room looked old, and the towels were frayed and worn. They provided just one tiny bar of soap for a stay of several days. Avoid this place, they seem to have contempt for their guests.

Mr Pillai made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived and was very accommodating. At Bright Heritage, I had a spacious, clean and comfortable room, with good amenities and a relaxing feel throughout the stay. The location was handy for exploring the area. I had a very good experience and would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay.

Getting to the hotel was a struggle on Christmas evening because the traffic was awful, three hours for 6km, but the receptionist helped me find a better way there. My room at Bright Heritage was spacious, clean and comfortable. The service was good, though there were mosquitoes here and there, and the bathroom was just okay. There’s no lift.

Fort Kochi, Kerala’s Pondicherry, is a place in Cochin worth visiting once, and I think an overnight stay is a must. Bright Heritage is a decent, cozy and warm option with the right amenities, without costing too much. It’s an old hotel, so don’t expect anything fancy. It’s close to the beach, museum, water metro and bus stop, and works well if you want to spend your time exploring Fort Kochi instead of staying in your room. There are lots of floors and rooms, so coming in person to book may save 500-1000rs. The in-house restaurant on the 1st floor and the open-air rooftop one are a plus. Both have good food, and the atmosphere is great. Hot water and the TV weren’t working, but the Wifi was really good. Thanks for hosting us, Hotel bright heritage.
