Pg Guest House by OYO Rooms

I went to check in today after booking yesterday, but the staff refused me and said app bookings aren't accepted at their property. They also asked for an extra check-in charge on top of the room rent. It was frustrating and felt like harassment. If they don't take app bookings, why list the hotel on OYO? There's even a lit sign at the gate saying OYO PG Guest House, so why use OYO's name if bookings through the app aren't allowed? Don't go here.

This is an OYO hotel in name only. They get customers through OYO but won't give rooms at OYO prices, and the rates aren't even cheap. The rooms aren't clean, the bedsheets are dirty and unhygienic, and service is poor. Staff behavior is bad too, they argue with customers about most things. Not recommended. Look at other hotels first; I think you'll find a better one. OYO should remove these owners and properties from its chain.

The staff were very nice, and the property was neat and clean. I also liked the location, with several places to eat nearby and a Radha Krishna mandir close by. It would be suitable for a family stay. My only drawback was the mattress. It was too hard for older people, and after a long journey it made my back hurt.

For a budget stay below $40, this basic guest house should be fine. The room quality and cleanliness are average, though not bad, and I found the staff quite friendly. If you're after somewhere luxurious, this isn't the place.
