Raj Guest House

The location is quite good, but the rooms are narrow and there are no room amenities. They gave me a room with AC and a geyser, but I couldn't use either by myself. I had to go through reception and ask, and even after requesting them I didn't get those services, despite paying for them. Nobody cleans the room or changes the bedsheet unless you ask. Think before checking in.

Avoid this worst hotel in kolkata. The manager was rude, dishonest and unsupportive. He took extra money and then gave a discount to arrange room rentals, and he smokes heavily, takes drugs and alcohol.

The room is in good condition, though a little small, and the staff behave well. I've checked in several times at raj guest house, near kolkata new market, and I'm staying here as I write this. The first time, the service may not be the best, but once they get to know you, you will get service from them. I'd give it 4 stars. Thanks for reading.

For three people in a triple room, the price was reasonable. The room was simple and clean, the Wi-Fi was pretty fast most of the time, and we didn't hear noise from the busy street. The shower didn't work, but that wasn't a problem for us.
