The telephone didn't work, and the room looked old and neglected, with poor maintenance throughout. It was uncomfortable and extremely unhygienic. The room was in terrible shape, with dirt everywhere and stained, dirty bedsheets that clearly hadn't been changed after the previous guests. The washroom was filthy as well. The hotel looks nothing like the online photos, which I found completely misleading. It wasn't worth the money and isn't suitable for families or anyone who cares about cleanliness. I strongly advise people to avoid it and not trust the booking site pictures. One of the worst and most disappointing stays I've had.

The TV was switched on and plugged in right in front of me, but it didn't work. I could have overlooked it if it hadn't been left that way, and that's the only reason I didn't give five stars. Otherwise the rooms and washroom were clean, and the geyser and AC worked properly. The staff were friendly, the food was good, and the location was convenient, close to the airport, city centre 2, and several famous restaurants.

I found the receptionist cordial and got assistance whenever I needed it, though the service wasn't great overall. There was no phone for contacting reception or the kitchen, so I had to save the receptionist's number. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, with wooden flooring. The sealed glass meant using the AC was a must, and the bathroom could have been better. The location is good, about 10-15min from the airport and well connected to the rest of the city.

The room felt neglected and was far below an acceptable standard. It was outdated and obviously not maintained, and the strong cigarette smell made it uncomfortable as soon as I walked in. The linen was dirty, the floor didn't look properly cleaned, and there was visible salt buildup and grime on the taps and fittings. The AC was filthy and looked as if it hadn't been serviced in a long time, which made the air feel unhealthy. I'd strongly recommend inspecting the room before checking in and paying at the reception. Otherwise, you could get stuck with a very unpleasant stay at Townhouse Hotel.
