Treebo Sreemaa Newtown Near Biswa Bangla Gate

The food was a highlight for me, especially the authentic Kolkata fish dishes and breakfast. The rooms were clean, with clean bathrooms, a good view, and daily cleaning by the service staff. There’s a park right across from the building for morning or evening walks, and the area is clean and quiet. Good people and good service too. We enjoyed our stay, and I’d definitely come back when I visit Kolkata.

It's 2 am and kids somewhere in the building are making a racket, while guests are banging on room doors. Don't book here if you need a good night's sleep.

There's a clean balcony in the room, the staff are helpful, and the neighborhood is clean with plenty of cafes and places to eat nearby. The price is very reasonable for what you get.

The WiFi could be faster, but for the price I paid, everything else was spot on. Staff were proactive and ready to help, and the food was delicious. Abhijeeth deserves a special mention as a great cook. Breakfast was tasty and filling, too. A really pleasant, economical stay.
