Hotel Krishna

The room was clean and the location was good, but street noise came through quite a bit. The soundproofing needs improvement.

Good service, and a nice place to stay with family or friends.

I ended up paying ₹1,777 for an AC room I didn't want: the ₹1,277 booking plus another ₹500 in cash. Hotel Krishna had told me the room I booked was no longer available and demanded the extra money for a replacement. I felt scammed and hated how the staff handled it, but I had no choice. If they'd called me at 10 a.m., I would have canceled then. I had booked a non-AC room at Hotel Krishna Lakhisarai through Amazon Pay, powered by MakeMyTrip, on September 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM. I called the hotel two or three times at 10:00 AM to confirm, but nobody answered or called back. When I tried again around 1:00 PM, staff said my room had already been booked. I asked how a room could be listed as available online if it was already booked, and why the hotel hadn't contacted me as soon as the booking was completed. They said the replacement would cost ₹500 more. This was my first online hotel booking, and it was the worst experience. Even with bus bookings, online or offline, I've had a quick response. I hadn't experienced anything like this with hotels. In smaller cities, hotel owners may scam you like this. You might pay online for one room, then be moved to another and charged extra, or be told there are no rooms even after your booking is complete. They may take advantage when you're stuck. I'd avoid booking online in places like this. If you absolutely have to book, do it offline. You may get scammed online or not receive the service you expect. Thank you.

We were bitten by mosquitoes all night. The room was tiny, had no facilities, and didn't feel worth Rs 1500 at all. Breakfast was completely cold. When I asked, they reheated the same food, but it tasted very bad. It was a really bad experience.
