The sheets and washrooms were clean, and the location was good. It’s a basic hotel, though, with no lift, intercom, or complimentary water. There were lots of flies and mosquitoes. It’s okay for a short emergency stay.

Good food, good cleanliness, and very nice staff. You don't even find fans or AC in Ladakh hotels, but this one provides pedestal fans in every room.

The garden is lovely, with an apricot tree, and the Leh market is within walking distance. I had a very satisfactory stay. The rooms are nice, there’s hot water around the clock, and the room service guy was very humble and helped manage the electric heaters during winter.

The hosts and owner were among the most welcoming people I've met. They helped us plan local tours and arrange bike rentals at very competitive rates, and clearly cared about making the stay memorable. The hotel is on Fort Road, just a minute's walk from the main market, with shops, the lively Tibetan market, eateries, and bike rentals close by. We also liked the clean, spacious rooms, which had a little touch of luxury without costing too much. Room heaters, TV, hot water, and the basics made the chilly Leh nights easier. The freshly prepared food was another highlight, with a nice range of flavors. Ladakh Villa Hotel offers great value for money and made our trip more enjoyable. Highly recommended for a visit to Leh.
