Heritage Residency

Breakfast was good, and apart from the kettle needing a clean, the room was big enough. We enjoyed the stay overall, but the swimming pool was a letdown. We booked despite the distance from local sightseeing because of the pool, thinking our kid would enjoy it in summer. They told us it had been under maintenance for two months, and my friends who stayed here 4 to 6 months earlier also couldn’t use it. The hotel is a bit far from the city centre too. Rooms and the other services were good. I’d give it 4 stars if the pool were available; I’ve taken off one star for the maintenance and another for the location, so 3 stars.

Mr.Pandidurai (Front office manager) took great care of us, with a warm manner, attentiveness, and readiness to help with anything we asked. His service really made the visit better. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with good bedding and the amenities we needed. Housekeeping kept things tidy, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. I had a very pleasant stay and would gladly return. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, hassle-free visit.

The reception didn’t respond even after we tried to get in touch several times. In the room, every cupboard was broken and unusable, and the kettle heater was dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. The bed smelled unpleasant, making it hard to sleep comfortably. They hadn’t provided handwash, shower gel, or even complimentary water bottles. Hygiene and maintenance were extremely poor, nowhere near what I’d expect from a hotel.

The rooms and floors weren’t cleaned properly, which made the stay less comfortable. Room service was poor too, with slow responses, and the food prices felt high for the hotel’s standard. My experience fell short of expectations, and I’d give it 2 out of 5. Service, cleanliness, and value for money all need work.
