The room had a working AC, an average bed, and a working 42-inch Sony TV. There was parking on the premises with security, plus charging points beside the bed. Wi-Fi connected, but there was no data. The door wasn't soundproof, and a Hindi-speaking family in three neighbouring rooms kept opening doors and shouting through the night, about 500 times. When I complained at reception, they said the group would go to sleep in 10 minutes. If you're after peace and relaxation, this isn't the place. The chicken fried rice from the kitchen was horrible. The kitchen manager knocked on my door by 7pm to ask about ordering, and said to place an order by 8.30pm because the kitchen closes then. I've never seen this practice in a hotel. Restaurant staff usually call to ask, they don't knock on the door. There were gaps around the bathroom door, and road noise came through the exhaust. Early in the morning, I could hear housekeeping staff talking about the household jobs they'd done the previous day and how diligently they'd managed them. Much appreciated.

This was the worst hotel I've stayed at in Madurai, and a total waste of money. The staff were pathetic and had no professionalism. The bathrooms were filthy and smelled strongly, and the bedsheets and blankets were dirty, clearly unwashed. It's unhygienic and not suitable for families. I strongly warn people against booking it, especially if travelling with family.

We needed just one night near the temple, with working AC and a geyser, somewhere pleasant enough for a quick rest and staff who'd listen if something came up. This hotel delivered more than I expected. The reception team kindly helped with our luggage when we were running late for darshan. It was rated only 3.3 when I booked, which feels far too low to me. I'd put it at 4.0 or higher.

There was no usable internet even though the Wi-Fi showed as connected. The bathroom door had gaps, so road noise came through the exhaust. On the plus side, the AC worked well, the bed was average, and the 42-inch Sony TV worked. There was parking on the premises with security, plus charging points beside the bed.
