The Orchid Manali - a Boutique Hotel

The rooms have all the amenities, but service wasn't up to the mark. Check-in took about 30 minutes, and I was given the wrong room, without a balcony. After I asked to switch, I waited another 30 minutes, which was frustrating. Valley-facing rooms are spacious with balconies and have a decent view if you get one on the highest or second-highest floor. Non-valley-facing rooms are small, face the road, and have a pathetic view. The location is okay, a little outside the busy area, so it's not very crowded. There's not much open space at the hotel and no rooftop restaurant. Try the rooftop restaurant at Tiarra, it's much better. I don't know how this place got a 5-star rating. At most, it should be 3 or 4 stars, and it isn't worth the price.

Ashwini Kumar took such thoughtful care of us, especially by preparing fresh, hygienic food for our baby. That gave us peace of mind, and he also made sure our meals were arranged well and suited our preferences. The whole team was attentive and courteous throughout. The Orchid Manali was clean and comfortable, with well-maintained rooms, a warm atmosphere, and beautiful mountain views. Our stay was memorable, and I’d especially recommend it for families travelling with kids.

The whole team made us feel at home, and we left really happy with our stay. As newlyweds, we especially appreciated the romantic surprise Pavan arranged. He kept our room spotless and welcoming, then decorated it with balloons and roses. We’ll always remember that thoughtful touch. Restaurant Manager Sachin was professional and made dining easy and enjoyable. Aswini Kumar, Aman Verma, and the other restaurant staff were warm, attentive, and prompt. I may not know everyone's name, but the efforts of the whole team made a difference. The care from the staff made us feel valued throughout our stay. It’s a comfortable, peaceful choice for newly married couples, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant stay. We hope to visit again.

We had a memorable stay. The hotel is neat and clean, and it looks much better inside than it does outside. Staff were nice and cooperative, and being a little away from the noise around Mall Road was a plus.
