Fabexpress Colaba Grand

I regret booking with Fab Hotels. The room had mosquitoes and cockroaches, and the linen wasn't soft or comfortable. After the AC failed in the first room, I was moved to one with less carpet and very little space; its mattress was uncomfortable too, so I couldn't sleep well. Getting in was unpleasant because the entrance is narrow, and there was no lift, which made access difficult. Breakfast was extremely limited to bread, omelets, and poha.

The price is reasonable and the location is good, but the rest of the place was disappointing. The stairs leading up were extremely dirty, and reception staff were unwelcoming, unhelpful, and not very friendly to foreigners. We couldn't pay by card and had to use cash, which isn't acceptable for a hotel. A fan in the next room was so loud we couldn't sleep. Reception laughed when I asked for help and stayed seated, so I had to ask twice before they turned it off. Staff also talked loudly late into the night. I gave feedback to the man at reception, but he didn't seem to care and didn't even apologize. I wouldn't recommend it to a foreign visitor unless all they need is a cheap place to stay.

I was there 13/16 Oct 24. The lift only starts on the 3rd floor, so you have to climb four flights of stairs to reach it. The access is very untidy, and this is a no-no for seniors. I was charged for breakfast but it wasn't delivered. Not recommended for foreign visitors, and it should be removed from Booking.com.

The stairs were full of garbage all the way to the top floor, where a place called a hotel sits inside a building. The smell inside was indescribable. The room and bathroom were dirty, with old furniture that was mouldy and damp, and cockroaches everywhere. The photos on booking are fake. I thought it would be a normal hotel, but it wasn't. If you're not used to this kind of environment and aren't strong enough, you might not even make it to the hotel without throwing up. I never imagined there could be a place like this anywhere in the world operating as a "hotel". It was a very bad experience, and I don't recommend it to anyone.
