The hotel was still accepting bookings while the whole place was being renovated. Our room was in a terrible state: yellow, dirty bed linen and pillows, stained towels, and an unclean toilet. The flush didn’t work either, and the broken soap dispenser wasn’t replaced even after we reminded them.

We booked months ahead, but it seems Sarovar had sold the property and it was under renovation. Nobody bothered to tell us. Imagine arriving in Mumbai in the middle of the night with no hotel to go to. Absolutely pathetic.

The room smelled so bad I couldn’t sleep. The place was extremely poorly kept, so I checked out just two hours after arriving. A very poor place to stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Parking was on the road, and the ambience wasn’t great. It was crowded, the buffet had limited choices, and the food was nothing special. The fish was especially oily. Just an average experience.
