Hotel Grand Plaza by OYO Rooms

The kitchen was dirty, the rooms were unhygienic, and the washrooms were filthy. The walls were badly damaged, the lighting was poor, and some lights didn’t work. The hotel didn’t provide proper facilities, and I was completely disappointed. I don’t want to return and would advise others to avoid that hotel Grand plaza. I’m unhappy with OYO too, since I chose a different hotel and they gave me this one.

The kitchen looked so dirty that we didn’t eat the toast offered for breakfast. The bed was unclean and stained, the TV didn’t work, and the soap looked as if someone had already used it. Staff and guests shouted and talked at night, so we couldn’t sleep. There’s also a mosque that uses a loudspeaker at 5am. I mention that to warn people before booking, not out of Islamophobia. The hotel is in one of Mumbai’s dirtiest areas. Avoid it even if your budget is tight.

This hotel Grand plaza isn’t worth the price. They advertise a low booking rate and confirm, then the manager refuses the booking when you arrive and asks for more money to check in. Be aware of this kind of fraud. The service is also very poor and feels dishonest. Don’t waste your time here.

I had the same problem. I booked through the OYO app at a low price, but when I arrived, they said the rates were different and wouldn’t honor the booking as shown on OYO. This is a big fraud. I won’t book through OYO again.
