I stayed here on 13-04-2025, and wouldn't recommend it, especially to tourists. The bathing water in the room wasn't good, reception and other staff behaved badly, and room service was the worst. The room was expensive, too. One star out of five.

The rooms are clean, and there's hot water and AC. The hotel is close to the railway station. Just make sure you know which place you're booking, since there are two with similar names, Hotel Hira and Hotel Hira palace. This one is Hira Palace. There's no free water, tea or food available here.

For business travel, it can work because it's much cheaper than hotels in kalvadevi. A taxi there costs rs. 40 and takes about 15 minutes. The rooms are cramped, though, and the staff are rude. The hotel is on the 3rd floor with no lift, and you have to pay for someone to carry your bags upstairs. Check that your room has an air conditioner, as some don't.

It's right opposite grant road station, and the place was decent, neat and clean. Staff were courteous and helpful, so I'd recommend it for families or bachelor's. Just be aware that it's on the 3rd floor with no lift, which could be a problem for older people. The rest was good.

There are two hotels with the same name on different floors. The first one we came across was very clean, but the one on the next floor was terrible for us. We were given an AC room where the AC didn't work, though the geyser did. They moved us to a different room, where the AC worked but the geyser didn't. All the rooms smelled like an ash tray.
