The rooftop is spacious and has great views, and there’s also an AC workspace plus an open area where you can use a laptop. It’s one of the best common areas I’ve seen in a Mumbai hostel. The location is excellent too, close to the railway station, with a lively market right outside. My private room didn’t have a fridge, and the room quality overall could be better for the price. Despite the impressive shared space, the social atmosphere was quiet while I was there. People mostly kept to themselves, and there wasn’t a natural place where guests gathered.

The beds were comfy, the service went smoothly, and I had a great time meeting people and hanging out. Locomo Hostel OG Mumbai had a fun, relaxed party vibe and good energy throughout. The three people at reception, two women and one man, were all really friendly and helpful. I’d definitely come back if I’m looking for a social place in Mumbai.

Even though I only stayed half a day before catching a late-night train, it was comfortable and relaxing. I arrived a few hours before check-in, and the hostel managers, Sidesh and Rochelle, quickly arranged for me to freshen up and rest. They were kind and welcoming, and gave me tips for my trip to Goa too. There’s plenty nearby, including a tea stall, fruit shops, and restaurants, and the hostel is right by Vile Parle station. A top choice for backpackers. I’ll come back.

I stayed at LOCOMO for two days, and it’s the best place I’ve stayed so far. The terrace is especially nice, and the hostel has a positive vibe and good space. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and available 24/7, so I didn’t have to worry about anything. It’s very close to Vile Parle (E) station, which makes getting around Mumbai easier. If you like socializing, you’ll meet people from all sorts of backgrounds here and might even make friends.

The market is just steps away, with everything from everyday essentials to food and clothes for shopping. It’s a good place to stay in the heart of Mumbai. The atmosphere and hospitality are lovely, and the staff make you feel at home. Special mention to Rochell, who helped me check in and showed me around the property, including what to do and what not to do. A must-visit for solo travelers.
