Hotel Oriental Aster - Mumbai International Airport

We found bed bugs again when we checked out, after encountering them multiple times during our stay. We had to use a floor mattress because the bed was infested, and the hotel charged extra for it. They only removed that charge after we argued. There was no apology or compensation. At 2 AM, the fumes from the overpowering chemicals they’d sprayed in the room were unbearable, so we quietly took our food to the lobby. We weren’t bothering anyone, but Rajkumar at reception wouldn’t let us sit there or use the empty restaurant. He told us, “It’s not our problem, ma’am.” The bed bugs, chemical fumes, and dismissive treatment made this a health hazard of a stay. Don’t stay here.

We’ve stayed here three times now and would recommend it. The rooms are clean, the location is very good, and the restaurant looks beautiful and serves great food. The staff were nice, especially KK, who was friendly, helpful, and took good care of us. Thank you.

The room was in terrible shape for the price: it was dirty, missing basic items, and the TV didn’t work. It took them almost an hour to fix the TV, and they didn’t give me any extra time despite the delay. The reception staff were rude and unprofessional when I arrived. A very bad experience. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
