OYO 69614 Hotel Diamond

Even after paying everything upfront, the hotel people were uncooperative, arrogant, and rude. I'd already paid the full advance through oyo, but the manager refused to let me in, saying they wouldn't accept prepaid Oyo bookings. I spent 2-3 hours on the phone with Oyo and still got no solution, so I ended up paying a lot more to book a room there. I raised tickets and escalated the issue, but Oyo still took no strict action. A terrible experience with Oyo.

After I paid the full amount to Agoda, the hotel said the payment hadn't arrived. They also said that even if it had, they had no rooms. I was on the phone with Agoda customer care for over an hour when the receptionist hinted that a room could be given for 2000 instead of the 1300 I'd booked. If they won't honor the quoted price, why offer it? It was after 6 pm and I was tired from travelling, so I took the room for 2000 inr. It smelled bad and wasn't good. It felt like they attract people with a low price, then claim they're overbooked and raise the cost when guests have no options. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The outside and the neighborhood look awful, but the rooms themselves are good. It's close to the American embassy, so people may stay a day or two, and it's a way to save money. For two people, they charge around 1500/- to 1600. Try booking direct instead of through third party websites.

There are six of us stuck here, calling around and trying to get refunds. I booked online, but when I arrived they said online bookings aren't allowed. I've spent the last three hours trying to get my money back, and I hope I can. Agoda app support is useless on both chat and calls. Don't book online at this hotel, you'll have the same pain.
