OYO 79035 Flagship Hotel Kalpana Elite

We stayed for three days and got very good service. It's close to the US embassy, and the manager and everyone else were really polite. Since the building used to be a cinema hall, there's plenty of parking. I also needed document photocopies, and the manager helped me get them. Recommended.

Our room had no window and got unbearably cold, so the stay wasn't one of our best. The cleanliness, service, and rates were still acceptable, though. Staff were pleasant and helpful with information, let us leave our things in the cloakroom for three days at no extra cost, and even gave us a room to change in for free. There are several restaurants nearby with delicious food, and the railway station is close.

The rooms are tiny and have no windows, but there's enough room for two people and their belongings. The bathroom was well maintained, with hot water all day. The hotel is clean, though the surrounding area isn't great and there aren't many places to eat nearby. Breakfast was nothing special, just a couple of slices of bread and tea, and don't expect the hotel to provide mineral water. Still, for the price and being under 2 km from the US consulate at BKC, it's a good place to stay if you're visiting there.

I was promised a room for much less on the goibibo/oyo app, but the hotel asked for extra because, they said, its tariff didn't match. People arriving from far away are left with little choice but to pay and stay. The senior receptionist was fairly polite, but still asked me for 2800 for a room listed at 1700 on the goibibo/oyo app. The front desk receptionist was terrible, rude, and no help at all. This feels like a scam. goibibo/oyo, please look into the false promises and late refunds. We just want what we paid for. At least four rooms were being kept blocked in photos because the front desk wouldn't assign a room unless you paid extra.
