We paid 500 after being promised dinner and breakfast, but they refused to give us dinner afterward. When we asked for a refund, he ignored us. There wasn’t drinking water, handwash, soap, or a towel either. It was a bad experience, and we suggest not booking here.

For one day they charge 1500rs, even for one person, but the room and service are below average. It wasn’t hygienic, and the switch boards were damaged. They didn’t provide soap, shampoo, a brush, or a towel. Don’t take a room here.

A reasonable budget travel option. We stayed for one day and felt quite satisfied. The room was just okay, the staff behaved well, and the bathroom was decent, though there was no heater inside. The TV wasn’t working.

The booking felt shady, with no clear details, and after we paid, communication was poor. The cottage was misrepresented, and things weren’t working properly. There were no working switches, little maintenance, a filthy bed that looked as if it had never been cleaned, and the rest of the room was in a terrible state. We had to take a cold bath in Ooty’s freezing weather because there was no hot water. Most of the staff, including management, seemed intoxicated and behaved badly throughout our stay. They charged extra for basic things, even cleaning the dustbin, while providing no real service. This was one of our worst experiences. I’m sharing it so others don’t fall into the same trap. Don’t book this cottage.
