OYO 7987 Hotel Carnation

The staff were kind and hospitable, and the hotel was neat and clean. It was easy to get to the Botanical garden, Rose garden, Ooty lake, Tea Garden, Doddabedda point, Commercial road for shopping, and Tibetan Market. Thanks for making our stay cozy and comfortable.

Mr. Mariadass at Hotel Carnation gave us good advice when we realized the hotel we’d booked wasn’t right for us. We’d paid a very high price in full for 4 nights/3 days, but the place and rooms were old and dirty, with broken bathroom accessories, broken flooring, and old wardrobes. The kids were disappointed, and it didn’t feel worth the money. He said we could cancel if we weren’t satisfied, then gave us a big room for the night and moved us to a Suite room the next day at a very reasonable price. The hotel room was well maintained and cozy, with positive vibes, 24/7 hot water, and a great view. The hospitality was exceptional, and it felt like home. The kids loved it. The friendly staff took care of all our requests, and the stay became really memorable. Thanks to Mr. Mariadass and team. We’d recommend them to family and friends.

We stayed two days at Hotel Carnation during our Ooty trip. The rooms were cozy and well maintained, and the atmosphere made me feel good. Owner Mr Maria Dass was very helpful, and the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare. I can’t wait to return. One thing to fix: only one socket in our room worked.

The room was clean and neat, and the rate was affordable. It’s near Ooty main area, with food shops around. Tea from Truck Tea shop at hotel entrance was really good. For the best price, try going on weekdays.
