River Front Hotel

The scenery was gorgeous, and we had a lovely time here with the family. The staff were all kind and cooperative, especially cook nisar, Manager sajad and Rashid bhai. We enjoyed the bonfire and the food too. A marvellous property, and we’d gladly come back. Definitely recommend it.

The staff were so friendly and ready to help with anything we needed. The rooms were comfortable, though cleanliness was only average, likely because the building is old and the winters are cold all year. Since it’s a remote area, the facilities they provide are still very good. And the location is what makes the stay: the scenery is mesmerizing, better than even the best tourist spots nearby. Glad we didn’t let the negative reviews put us off. We’ll definitely return.

Basheer bhai made the stay especially memorable. He’s a cheerful, helpful and cooperative host. We could get any service with just a call, and the rooms were cozy and spacious. The hotel sits right beside the river, so you can hear the water from your room. I was unsure about booking at first, but after two days I knew it was the best decision of my Kashmir trip. A lifetime experience, highly recommended.

The complimentary trek with Basheer was a real highlight. He shared his knowledge and enthusiasm for the local landscape as we went along. The food had some shortcomings, but the staff’s warm hospitality made the whole place feel calm and welcoming. The service and distinctive trek made the restaurant worth visiting, and the stay was memorable.
