There were around 10 cockroaches in my room. Even at a cost of 100rs, basic hygiene should be taken care of. Totally unacceptable.

There were so many bedbugs, and my son was bitten. The owners didn't take care of him at all, and the room service was absolutely filthy. This has been the dirtiest hotel experience of my life so far. Nobody should stay here.

A really bad stay. We were given a room late at night, around 4 am, but were charged for the whole day. The bedsheet was torn, and they provided no amenities or water bottles.

I enjoyed my four days and nights here overall. The day duty staff were very good and cooperative, but I had a bad experience with one night duty housekeeping staff member on 10/06/25. Their behavior toward customers was poor, and they wouldn't even answer the call. This review is only about that one staff member, not all the staff. My stay at hotel Ashok plaza punjim was otherwise enjoyable.

The hotel's large, and its location is a real advantage, with the market, casinos, and popular restaurants nearby. Room service was great, and the bedsheets and pillows were clean. The hotel feels old and outdated for its category and needs serious renovation. The lift was untidy and smelly. The room was just okay, and the washroom wasn't very clean, with a cracked washbasin and heavy salty deposits on the faucets. I'd still recommend it, and mean this as positive feedback.
