I spent a long time at Hotel 1947, and it was my best stay in all of India. The owner was so friendly and helpful, and I felt safer there than anywhere else. The rooms were clean and had all the modern comforts I needed. In the morning, the lake view was uplifting. Highly recommend it.

The location made getting around easy, with restaurants, shops, and attractions close enough to walk to. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was good quality too. I slept well each night in the comfortable bed, and the room felt cozy and welcoming. It was cleaned daily and kept tidy. The staff were always friendly and ready to help, including with recommendations. I had a really satisfying stay and would recommend this place. The service felt warm, and I’d be glad to return.

The view from the room was great, but the noise at night made it impossible to sleep. The AC also wasn’t working properly. There’s no lift, and the rooms start on the second floor, so you have to take the stairs. They didn’t provide glasses, and the water bottles they gave us had already been used and weren’t sealed.

The food was fresh and fabulous, and the service was great. The staff were cooperative, and the bill was right. There’s lots of space, with a generous seating area that’s covered and decorated simply. The interior is simple too, and the place feels classy. If you’re into heights, try the rooftop. A lovely place to stay and eat, with a nice ambience that costs nothing extra. 👍 😋 🍨🍦

The food was fresh, delicious, and really good. The place is spacious, with a simple, nicely decorated interior and lots of height. Service was amazing, and I loved the experience here. Give it a try, I don’t think you’ll regret it.
