Housekeeping let the service down. They didn't seem to take check-in or check-out seriously, which is why I'm giving 4 stars. The front office, especially Pushpa, was good and satisfactory compared with the other staff. In every other respect, the hotel deserves 5 stars.

I was charged for breakfast but got no tea, coffee, or food, even though I checked out early in the morning. That was one more disappointment during my two-day stay at Hotel Kingsway, Raipur. I had to change rooms because there were insects, and in the replacement room the shower didn't work and the bathroom faucets were broken. I reported the problems more than once, but management never responded. The manager was especially rude and made me feel like a nuisance. I asked the front desk to connect me to him and tried calling him myself, but he didn't answer or get back to me. This is unacceptable for a hotel. I hope the owner looks into it urgently 😡.

I didn't stay overnight, just went to try the basement restaurant. Ordered paneer tikka, an omlette, and some drinks. The food was good and the service was nice. A handy spot to refuel if you're heading to Bhilai via Raipur 😎

They believe in Women Empowerment, with mostly female staff, which is the best part. Staff are courteous, service is quick, and the food is tasty. One of the best hotels to stay at.

The stay was okay overall, and I'd go back. But the rooms aren't soundproof. There was clanking and people talking all night.
