It’s a small, quiet place near North Bengal nursing home and nibedita nursing home. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff are polite and friendly. There’s no kitchen at the hotel, so anything you order is brought in from outside. A good spot for a peaceful, comfortable stay.
The service, staff behaviour, and facilities are why I’m giving this one star. I only saw two staff members managing everything, and neither was cooperative or knew how to behave with guests. Bring enough drinking water if you stay, because after 10pm they won’t provide any, even if you’re very thirsty. I’d never recommend this hotel.
I was travelling solo and had to stay the night after missing my last bus to Mathabhanga. The room I got was really nice, with huge French windows on the ground floor and a resort-like feel, especially compared with other OYO rooms and hotels in that price range. The toilets were very hygienic, and the entrance corridor, lighting, and overall look were great too. I can’t speak for the other rooms. The staff were decent but timid. They stuck closely to the script and generally wouldn’t go out of their way to help when I was in a difficult situation.
The staff were all kind and generous, and the hospitality was good. I’d recommend this place to visitors coming nearby for medical treatment.
