There’s a big riverside walkway right across from the property, and the central Rajbagh location means Lal chowk is within walking distance and places around Srinagar are about 10 minutes away. The rooms are huge, with big beds and proper heating. It feels homely, from the owner through the kitchen and housekeeping teams, and everyone was sweet and accommodating. The food was fresh and really good, and they were happy to take requests any time. Butter Chicken and Chicken do pyaza were favorites, though most of the menu was worth trying. A big thank you to Firdous ji, Hussain ji and all the staff who looked after us, and to Nisaar ji for helping with everything. Also, thank you to Altaf ji for running this Blessed property so well 🧿

The ground floor rooms are new, but we had lots of problems on the first day. Firdous was the only boy who solved them all.

The limited parking could become a real issue for large functions or a lot of guests, so it would take some planning to avoid inconvenience. The hotel sits beside the serene River Jhelum, a picturesque spot that works well for events and gatherings.

We felt at home during our stay, with a breakfast buffet offering multiple choices every day, and the food was great. The property is a short walk from Jhelum River and Lal Chowk. Everyone was hospitable, especially Umar bhai, a lovely, friendly host. 10/10 recommended ❤️❤️
